About the Opportunity
The Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCISO) Engagement and Enablement team has an immediate opening for a Senior Release Train Engineer (RTE) reporting to the Senior Manager of Agile resources within Engagement and Enablement. You will act as a servant leader and coach who will partner with key stakeholders and product teams within the OCISO which deliver incident response, vulnerability management, policy, and assurance services for the Federal Reserve. The RTE will help foster an environment conducive to collaborative teams and employ Agile practices to facilitate process flow and process improvement.
What You Will Do:
Establish and communicate the annual calendar for iterations and Program Increments
Facilitate PI Planning readiness through Pre-PI and Post-PI planning meetings
Facilitate PI Planning events
Summarize Program PI objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency
Assist tracking the execution of features and enablers
Facilitate periodic synchronization meetings
Coach leaders, Teams, and Scrum Masters in lean-agile practices
Manage Risks and Dependencies at Program level
Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
Encourage collaboration between teams, architects, product management and partners.
Facilitate System Demos
Promote improvements via Inspect and Adapt workshops
Manage agile metrics and executive reporting
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 10 years of IT work experience with 2+ years as Release Train Engineer.
Requires knowledge of multiple agile development methodologies and frameworks.
Requires understanding of iterative and incremental development.
Demonstrated experience in leading teams.
Demonstrated experience in coaching Scrum Masters, Product owners and team members.
Requires SAFe certification.

The national hiring range for the Senior Release Train Engineer is $112,500-$154,660 annually. For candidates in certain markets (Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; New York City Metro Area, Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA), the listed hiring and salary ranges may be adjusted based on your geographic location.
Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
