Job Description:
BIM Technician/Coordinator
- creating digital simulations of Electrical Work including Switchgear, Raceways, Light fixtures, busway, cable tray, etc
- verifying that information entered into the BIM (Building Information Model) is correct.
- creating and maintaining the project's overall BIM execution plan, ensuring it remains up to date throughout the course of the project.
- verifying that exported data from the BIM is accurate and complete.
- ensuring that BIM model parameters are compliant with the building execution plan.
- configuring 3D models using BIM-specific modelling programs such as Revit.
- adjusting design templates using modelling tools like EVOLVE
- creating element groups or internal element libraries within the project
- participating in meetings with project teams to ensure everyone understands how to adhere to the BIM process.
- participating in meetings with clients and stakeholders as a BIM expert
- organizing agendas for regular coordination meetings and updates
- transferring information and data to updated software versions.
- Providing Trimble Points.
- Maintain BIM issues Log for each Project
