VDC Engineer is a senior position oriented toward BIM/VDC expertise and project management. In this position, you will take your skills to the next level by leading projects, solving complex interdisciplinary problems, joining a team of over 40 passionate professional VDC Engineers, and using your skills to improve project quality and outcomes. This position is a launching pad for greater industry recognition, with opportunities to publish and present your work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Oversee BIM development and VDC Workflow across the project lifecycle with an emphasis on facilities, operations, and capital projects.
Expertise in collaborating and communicating effectively with clients.
Familiarity with various platforms and processes for architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or civil disciplines.
Demonstrated ability to follow project?specific BIM standards and knowledge of national BIM protocols (ISO, COBie, BIM Forum, etc.)
Must be a self?learner and work well independently and collaboratively.
Able to thrive in a high?paced, multi?disciplinary project team environment.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in BIM/VDC.
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering disciplines with specific BIM training.
Knowledge of BIM applications such as Revit and Navisworks is required.
Willingness to work hybrid, including on-site with the Client's project team.
Strong organization, verbal, and written skills.
Preferred Software/Technical Skills:
Autodesk BIM360 or Construction Cloud
BIM/VDC Workflows (BIM Execution Plan)
Revit
Coordination - Navisworks
3D Design and/or Trade Coordination
Familiarity with 3D Laser Scanning (LiDAR, SLAM, Drone)
