The Energy Equipment Senior Tax Manager will report to the Energy Equipment Tax Director. This person will be expected to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilites
Advise on tax implications of cross border contracts
Perform tax risk assessments to optimize worldwide tax efficiency and mitigate tax exposures
Carry out quarterly FIN48, FAS5 exposure analysis
Implement, monitor and help to develop transfer pricing policies
Provide practical day to day operating guidance
Work closely with operations, sales, finance, HR and accounting departments
Interact with third-party tax advisors
Assist with projects related to restructuring and acquisition implementation
Perform tax research and draft technical memos
This role does not perform tax preparation/compliance activities
Job Requirements
B.S. in accounting or finance required, and Advanced Degree in Accounting / Taxation / Law preferred
CPA or JD preferred
6+ years of experience in Big 4 and/or large multinational public company
Experience with cross border tax issues including permanent establishment, tax treaties & WHT
