Focus:
Lead the completion of monthly accounting tasks in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Conduct annual review and enhancement of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements), optimizing internal control effectiveness and efficiency.
Collaborate with relevant business partners to provide strategic financial analysis and insights, contributing to informed decision-making processes.
Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements and supporting schedules, presenting findings to management as needed.
Proactively engage in process improvement initiatives, driving positive change and efficiency gains.
Perform assigned duties, which may include overseeing plant accounting activities, reporting profit and loss statements, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, and managing accruals/deferrals/amortizations.
Skill Set:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
A minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
CPA or similar professional certification preferred, but not required.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in generating and managing financial reports.
Strong knowledge of Internal Controls, Governance, Risk, and Compliance frameworks.
Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and operations, with a track record of delivering valuable insights and recommendations.
Experience in designing queries and reports using financial systems, enhancing data analysis capabilities.
