We are currently seeking a talented Pre Construction Engineer to join our high performance buildings team, driving our net zero energy capabilities. Bringing experience in HVAC or building systems, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems for various projects in the Greater Denver area.
What you'll be doing:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop HVAC and building systems designs that meet client requirements and industry standards.
Conduct thorough analysis and simulations to ensure the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of mechanical systems.
Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing systems to enhance performance and energy efficiency.
Provide technical support during the construction phase, ensuring that installations align with design specifications.
Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to incorporate best practices into engineering designs.
What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license desirable, but not essential
Proven experience in HVAC and building systems design and analysis.
Proficiency in industry-standard software for simulation and design (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC system analysis tools).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
