Inviting applications for the role of Ontologist
Location: Alpharetta GA
As an Ontologist, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing ontologies to enhance our understanding and representation of data within our organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in knowledge representation, semantic modelling, and data integration. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
KRAs:
Design and develop ontologies to capture and represent domain-specific knowledge and relationships. Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand and formalize domain concepts.
Create and maintain semantic models to enable effective data integration and interoperability. Implement and maintain standards for ontology development and ensure adherence across projects.
Conduct quality assessments on ontology. Implement best practices.
Document processes, guidelines, and any issues encountered during the Ontology tasks.
Collaborate with client teams.
Manage client relationship onshore. Act as a client contact onsite.
Facilitate co-ordination between client and the Genpact team.
Skills Required:
Familiarity with Financial Statements and their interpretation.
Goof knowledge of financial and business terms.
Good interpersonal & communication skills (verbal & written)
Experience in creating and maintaining Taxonomy in the Financial domain is an advantage.
Expertise in MS Excel
Graduate in Finance / Commerce, MBA /Finance major preferred,
BTech, preferably in computer science and data can also be considered.
