We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Controller on a full time and direct hire basis. The Plant Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management, reporting, and analysis for our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise all accounting functions within the plant, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with plant management to develop annual budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights and recommendations.
Monitor inventory levels and reconcile inventory accounts to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Prepare and present financial performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives to optimize plant performance and profitability.
Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and analysis as needed.
Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and financial analysis techniques.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
