Level II - Level III Systems Technician:


  1. 3+ years' experience, Solid understanding power wiring. Motor Starters, Contactors, VFD's and Control relays etc.

  2. 3+ years of Commercial and Lite Industrial HV/AC Systems; Chilled and Hot water loop systems, Constant Volume and Variable Air Volume Air Handling Units, Vav terminals, Fan powered Vav terminals etc.

  3. 3+ years' experience, Solid ability to read wiring schematics, diagrams etc.

  4. 3+ years' experience, computer skills. Ability to load, setup and execute hardware and software applications.

  5. Solid Networking knowledge, IP schemes, BACNET installations on both IP and MSTP installations. Working knowledge of Instance ID schemes etc.

  6. Good communication skills.

  7. Eager to learn and expand your knowledge with an the ability to help teach others.

What will you do?


  • Start-up and Commission complex HVAC Building Automation Systems utilizing TEAM members as needed to assist and train.

  • Provide sketches and as-built drawings of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings.

  • Provide start-up and checkout documentation to the installation team for use in commissioning and validation

  • Review graphical user interfaces for Building Automation Systems as part of system commissioning

  • Receive on-line, classroom and hands on training to advance your skill sets.

What qualifications will make you successful?


  • Recently completed a two-year technical program or Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar field

  • 3+ years Knowledge of HVAC Systems and equipment, Chilled and Hot Water Loops, Constant and Variable Volume Air Handling Units, Fan Powered Vav Units etc.

  • 3+ years Electrical knowledge on power wiring, Motor Starters, VFD's

  • 3+ years' experience reading and understanding wiring diagrams, Equipment and Component wiring diagrams and Control wiring basics

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Visio

  • Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a TEAM

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task

  • 3+ years' Electrical, Control and HV/AC troubleshooting knowledge.

  • Working knowledge of typical equipment integrations, BACNET, Echelon and Modbus.
