Job Description:

Schedule: Per Diem. Weekend and holiday rotation.



The Food Service Worker performs a variety of functions related to the safe assembly, distribution, and service of food for Hospital visitors and staff.


Position includes:


  • Assembling sandwiches, grill items, and hot meals for to-go orders

  • Serving customers

  • Cleaning workstation and equipment

  • Restocking workstations

  • Light food preparation

Qualifications

Qualifications - External



  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Ability to read English to follow recipes, read menus/meal tickets, and job flows.

  • Ability to speak proficient English.

  • Great customer service skills required.

  • Must be able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to push catering carts, carrying/moving items up to 25 lbs., bending, lifting, and reaching

  • Ability to stand in a stationary position and/or walk quickly for long periods of time
