Kforce has a client that is seeking a Microservices App Developer in Cleveland, OH.
Responsibilities:
Microservices App Developer will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain microservices-based applications and APIs using modern backend technologies and frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to develop end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements
Implement DevOps practices and tools to automate the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of microservices applications in cloud environments
Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of backend services through proper design, testing, and optimization
Work closely with frontend developers to integrate backend services with frontend components, ensuring seamless data exchange and application functionality
As a Microservices App Developer, you will write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code while adhering to established coding standards and best practices
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in backend development, microservices architectures, and DevOps practices, and propose innovative solutions to improve our development processes and platform offerings
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
5-7 years of experience in backend and full stack development with a focus on building scalable and maintainable microservices architectures
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud computing platforms (Azure, GCP)
Strong understanding of microservices architecture principles and experience in designing and implementing microservices-based solutions
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and monitoring/logging solutions
Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling concepts
Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js) and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Django, Express.js)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
