Mooresville Medical Office Assistant



Specialty doctor's office is looking for a Medical Office / Check In Assistant to join their team. Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p. $18-20/hour. Temp to permanent.



Responsibilities

• Answer phones and check patients in and out


• Verify insurance and handle medical records and other clerical tasks


• Schedule Patient Referrals out as needed


• Collect co-pays, co-insurance & balances


• Medical records requests


• Index scanned documents


• Organize and disperse all paperwork for incoming faxes

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a medical front office role.


• Proficiency with EMR software is a plus.


• Someone polite and courteous with patients.


• Hard-working in a fast-paced environment.
