Job Title:Periop Quality and Education ManagerDepartment:University Hospital | Perioperative Administration



Position Summary


The Quality / Education Coordinator for Periop and Procedural Services oversees the promotion of safe, quality care for our patients within the perioperative department across the enterprise at OSUWMC. The position demonstrates expertise in nursing practice, nursing care delivery, administrative systems, interdisciplinary education and collaboration, and knowledge of the operating room and procedural areas. The Quality / Education Coordinator for Periop and Procedural Services exhibits knowledge of the principles and practice of safety and demonstrates expertise in process change, implementation, and sustainability, and works in collaboration with all OR and procedural team members to foster an environment of safety and quality while facilitating interdisciplinary communication and education within the department.





Minimum Qualifications


Required:



  • BSN of an accredited program and hold a current RN licensure or other clinical role

  • Master's Degree in Education, Healthcare or related field

  • ACLS certification

  • Demonstration of leadership, communication, organizational and management skills

  • Demonstrates computer skills required to meet job functions.

  • Minimum of 5 years of Perioperative / procedural experience
