Candidates will find a tremendous level of cooperation and support by neurosurgical colleagues. Interests in spine, neurosurgical oncology and/or skull base work will be well supported within the context of a general neurosurgery position. The Medical School offers training in 10 residency and 14 fellowship programs with over 250 residents/fellows on campus working alongside 450 providers in 75 areas of primary and specialty care
Practice Highlights:
* Hospital and neurosurgery team have an especially collegial relationship
* Five APPs in the department assist in surgery, clinic, and take call on Saturdays
* Level II trauma center
* Call is 1:4 and consultative in nature
* 80/20 mix of spine and cranial work
* 150 cases anticipated in year one with more than 250 once established
