GridironIT is seeking a Project Control Specialist local to the Rome, NY area.
Secret clearance is required.
Key Role:
Directs all financial management and administrative activities, such as budgeting, manpower and resource planning, and financial reporting. Performs complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems or contractual issues which would require a report and recommend solutions. Develops work breakdown structures, prepare charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems. Provides daily supervision and direction to staff.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
Preferred Requirements: 8 years of experience and/or Master's degree in technical, managerial, or related discipline.
Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with working in a business or project management environment
5+ years of experience with financial tracking and reporting
Experience working in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Experience with synthesizing data and information from multiple sources into a single document or report
Strong ability to think critically and solve multifaceted problems

Desired Skills in:
Experience with federal government contracts and acquisition
Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), federal budget process, funds accounting and management
Experience with quantitative analysis, including financial and schedule analysis
Ability to apply keen attention to details
Ability to effectively manage time to meet deadlines
Master's degree
