Our client is an organization in the greater Appleton area looking for an AssistantController. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of accounting experience, a CPA preferred, excellent organizational and time management skills. This position is Hybrid. The salary range for this position is $80-95k.
The AssistantController will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists Controller with monthly closing process, including journal entry processing and bank adjustments including payroll and fixed assets.
Works with other key senior persons of the organization to ensure financial and operational success.
Responsible for State, County and City Business Registrations and Compliance Reporting.
Responsible for weekly payroll processing and reporting.
Analyze variances from standard costs and draw meaningful conclusions from the data with a goal of reducing variances by continuous improvement.
Responsible for reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts including, but not limited to E&O, Allowance for Bad Debt, Commission and Warranty.
Responsible for process documentation, policy implementation and process improvements.
The AssistantController will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field.
5+ years of accounting experience, Manufacturing preferred.
CPA preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
