Akers Packaging Service Group is looking for a Plant Controller to be responsible for three sites in Richmond, Indiana, Evansville, Indiana, and North Vernon, Indiana. This is an in-person only role that can be based out of either of the three locations.
The Plant Controller is a key site leadership role for Akers Package Service, Inc. The Plant Controller is responsible for all accounting, financial planning & analysis, and decision support activities for the location(s) which they serve.

Responsibilities:
? Ensure that accounting records are accurate, supported with proper documentation and follow
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
? Develop a thorough understanding of all processes for the plant(s) of responsibility including Order to Cash and Procure/Production to Pay
? KPI's and financial/non-financial measures
? Work with General Manager to create annual business plan and updated financial forecast when
requested
? Work with Chief Financial Officer to enhance decision support tools and applications to provide ease of use visibility to understand business performance
? Other traditional accounting and finance activities
? Assist Akers Information Technology with location computer applications, networking and computer support as requested
? Serve as a contact person for the People Group, through collaboration with the Director of People and your People Operations Business Partner

Education & Experience:
? 10 years' progressive experience in accounting
? Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
