Job Summary: To analyze and monitor MES systems and equipment across the Automotive Manufacturing plant (KIA Georgia). Provide level 1 support in continuously supporting production at KIA Georgia.
Note: Must be open to multiple shifts as we do a rotation every few months.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and respond to problems with MES computer systems. This includes covering phone calls and radio calls from production and maintenance.
Complete periodic checklists regarding MES systems. Promptly respond to and resolve issues and requests as they arise.
Work with other Analysts and other MES team members to resolve issues.
Escalate issues as per MES escalation standards
Work in both a control room and on the plant floor.
Work overtime as needed to support production as well as projects
Reconfigure and replace computers, scanners, and printers as they fail.
Attend some holidays and the summer shutdown period to perform preventative maintenance of computers and MES equipment throughout the plant.
Assist customers with installations and modifications regarding MES systems. This includes: computer installation, scanner installation and computer repair.
Required Skills, Attributes & Education:
High school graduate or equivalent
Must be able to troubleshoot computer hardware and software
Must be able to think analytically
Experience with PC, Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Office, and Internet Explorer
