Pride Health is hiring for a Radiology Technologist to support our client's medical facility based in Irving, TX. This is a 2-month contract to hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of quality radiology procedures using utilizing X-Ray and DEXA equipment.
Provide radiation protection to patients and staff, consistent with current State Department of Health standards and regulations.
Appropriately adapts assigned client assessment, treatment and/or care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific and other developmental needs of each person served.
Maintain all equipment and paperwork in compliance with TDH standards and regulations as coordinated through the Radiation Safety Office.
Maintain supplies, checks equipment status daily and reports any problems that could change the workflow.
Correctly formats images, prints CD, and sends to the PACS.
Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associates or better in Radiologist Technology
License and registry through ARRT required in Radiography
Current MRT License through Texas Medical Board (TMB)
BLS certification
At least 2 years of X-ray experience in a fast paces multi physician environment

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5pm
Pay Range: $28- $38 per hour
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
