We are looking to hire an experienced, energetic and detail-oriented Medical Collections Representative to contact consumers in order to negotiate payment arrangements and performing skip tracing techniques in order to locate consumers so that they may collect a debt. This is a temporary to possible permant hire position with a great company with benefits.
Job Responsibilities:
Works on automated and manual platform making outbound calls and receiving incoming calls.
Talks with consumers while constantly and accurately making notes and updating account information.
Follows all Federal and State Laws as well as company policies and procedures.
Takes immediate payment by phone and sets up future payment arrangements.
Read and understand client notes then explain to consumer.
Takes insurance information from consumers and will send to another department.
Uses websites to handle payments by phone, search for location information to contact consumers, verify death, and any other related purpose.
Overcomes stalls and objections and suggest different money source options.
Maintains a routine.
