Minneapolis Radiology is currently looking for an Interventional Radiology Technologist. We are a growing multifaceted medical practice in the NW metro area. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging studies while providing excellent patient care. This person will work 32 hours a week, Monday-Friday at our New Brighton location. Additional hours available for PTO coverage if interested.
Radiologic Technologist Requirements:
Interventional Procedures: Assist in performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, venography, and more under the guidance of the physician/surgeon.
Operate Imaging Equipment: Utilize fluoroscopy, PACS, ultrasound and other imaging modalities to guide procedures and ensure optimal visualization of internal structures. Assists the physician with injectors and other relevant equipment and supplies.
Sterile Technique: Sets up sterile tray/table, maintain the sterile field during procedures to minimize the risk of infection and adheres to infection control protocols. Capable of assisting the physician/surgeon during procedures under fluoroscopy.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology Program
Previous radiology experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
