Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting transactions, including Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Daily Cash Review (bank reconciliations)
Prepare weekly reports of AR, AP, Active Orders Report both domestic & foreign.
Participate in regular tax audits, Insurance audits, and payroll pension audits.
Prepare daily cash available and forecast cash receivable.
Manage month-end and year-end closing.
Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department. Review the AP, AR for accuracy.
Qualifications
3+ years of Accounting experience seeking accelerated career growth to a Controllership position
Experience with the basic accounting functions - AR/AP/monthly close, etc...)
A passion for manufacturing and willingness to work onsite in Richmond
Bachelor's degree is required - In Accounting or Finance is strongly preferred
