What you will do as the Grain Accountant:Complete and review daily grain accounting duties including preparation of commodity position validation and analysis, ensuring all risk positions are reported and monitored
Partner with the commodity manager on customer inquiries related to commodity contracts and payments
Enter, organize, and manage commodity purchase contracts and customer liens
Perform customer account management and reconciliation for Customer and General Ledger
Assist with monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Assist with monthly commodity reporting
Prepare government and industry reports
Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and analysis and work
What you will bring to the role as the Grain Accountant:2-year degree in Business or Accounting
2+ years of finance, accounting, customer service, or related work experience
Demonstrated high levels of interpersonal communication, written and verbal communication, and documentation skills
