SNI Financial has partnered with a distribution company in Dallas hiring a Tax Manager to coordinate all federal and state income tax filings with an outsourced service partner while also finding areas for process improvement and automation. Responsibilities:
Manage and work with the outsourced service provider to oversee the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns, primarily for flow-through entities
Accurately manage the timely filing of all tax forms
Develop and execute the overall return calendar
Oversight of excise taxes
Find implementation opportunities to streamline and improve tax procedures and processes
Assist in strategic tax planning
Perform technical tax research and monitor tax legislative changes
Support audits
Prepare tax projections and distribution calculations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or tax required
CPA Required
5+ years of experience in large public accounting firm or large corporate tax department strongly preferred
Technical tax knowledge working with partnership and s-corp tax
