Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring their insurance needs are met effectively.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial insurance clients, providing exceptional customer service and building strong, long-lasting relationships.
Analyze clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions to meet their business requirements.
Prepare and present insurance proposals, quotes, and renewals to clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and secure coverage on behalf of clients.
Process policy endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other policy-related documents accurately and in a timely manner.
Review insurance policies and endorsements for accuracy and completeness, identifying any discrepancies or issues that require resolution.
Assist clients with claims reporting and follow-up, serving as an advocate to ensure timely and fair resolution of claims.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and changes in insurance regulations to provide clients with up-to-date advice and guidance.
Collaborate with other members of the agency team, including producers, underwriters, and support staff, to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions and exceptional service to clients.
Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and correspondence in agency management systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial lines insurance account management.
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines.
Possess or working towards industry designations such as CISR, CIC, or CPCU preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
