LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounting Manager for a client in the downtown Chicago area. Salary commensurate with experience will range from $110-$125K + 15% Bonus plus health, dental and vision benefits, 15 days PTO + 10 paid holidays, and 401K (with company match).

The Accounting Manager will manage all aspects of the accounting operations and manage a staff of 7 direct and indirect reports and will report to the Controller.

Key Functions include:

• Lead accounting team
• Create policies and procedures
• Managing tax issues
• Prepare financial reports
• Present to senior management
• Assist FP&A team with annual budgets
• Lead overhaul of internal audit program
• Month-end close, review journal entries, review financial statement
• Provide due diligence support and financial analysis for new acquisitions
• Internal controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
• CPA required
• 2+ years public accounting experience
