We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join a leading paper/pulp company based in Plymouth, North Carolina. Key Responsibilities
Identify instrumentation, electrical equipment and contractors according to general management guidelines
Manage projects independently and support engineering design.
Coordinate project management tasks including scope definition, cost estimation, engineering, specification development, and equipment identification within designated timelines and budgets.
Support maintenance and operations personnel in utilizing both new and existing equipment within the mill's electrical distribution and process control systems.
Oversee the activities of contractors and consultants to ensure the safe installation of new equipment or modifications to existing equipment, while adhering to budget and schedule constraints.
Offer assistance with installation challenges during shutdown periods.
Qualifications
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Min of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing industry
Well rounded experience with (motors, VFDs, Rockwell PLC programming, instrumentation, MCC, ABB DCS, electrical systems)
SAP - preferred.
