This Role:
Our team is currently seeking an experienced Senior Tax Specialist based out of Grand Rapids, MI. This is a full-time, hybrid role (2+ days in office each week) reporting to the Corporate Controller.
What You Will Do:
The Tax Accountant will play an important role in Duravent Group's success through the preparation of complex tax paperwork and government forms, appropriately documenting business activities and recommendation of company policies to enable savings on taxes to empower insightful business decisions.

How You Will Do It:
Prepare Federal and State tax provision schedules, returns, payments, and reports for the U.S parent company and its subsidiaries.
Accurately prepare and file quarterly and annual tax reports.
Personal Property Tax and Sales and Use Tax compliance
Manage tax audits and tax notices from any governmental authority.
Understand and apply the Nexus concept to support all our US locations tax returns.
Identify legal tax savings and recommend tax strategies that align with business goals.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in accounting required, CPA preferred.
Several years progressive work experience with U.S. corporate tax matters in similar role required
Strong mathematical, analytical, communication, and Microsoft Office Suites skills required
