The Senior Tax Specialist will play a pivotal role in designing and executing tax strategies while ensuring compliance with relevant statutes and regulatory codes. This position will involve tax planning, reporting, and managing tax-related processes, including the preparation, and filing of corporate tax returns.

Focus:
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop tax strategies aligned with business objectives.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of corporate tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Review operational processes to ensure adherence to local statutes and regulations.
Propose and implement policies and procedures to streamline tax information collection.
Manage documentation throughout the accounting cycle, culminating in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
Verify the accuracy of records and documents related to tax reporting and preparation.
Maintain effective communication with vendors and regulatory agencies.
Stay updated on changes in tax codes and accounting laws.
Conduct research on tax compliance issues at local and national levels.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skill Set:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA certification preferred.
Proven track record as a tax specialist or analyst with experience managing extensive volumes of accounting paperwork for a corporation or large organization.
Extensive knowledge of accounting methods, tax laws, audits and relevant accounting software.
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective planning and priority-setting skills, managing multiple projects under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
