Leavitt Group Texas Select if hiring a personal lines producer for their growing office in Houston, TX

Job Description
A personal lines producer sells new accounts in keeping with agency and individual goals. They will meet established goals and builds relationships with clients and referral partners. Identify and solicits sales prospects from various sources. Upholds the agency's reputation and professional manner of conducting business in dealings with both clients, Companies and business partners.

Essential Functions:
  • Identify and solicit sales prospects from various sources provided by agency, by cold calls, mailings and phone contact. In addition to self generated prospects and leads.
  • Contact prospects to sell all Personal Lines products (home, auto, umbrella, powersports, etc.).
  • Develop prospects through an organized agency direct solicitation program, referrals from present account, target marketing leads and through community affairs, centers of influence and other contacts.
  • Develop all information and recommendations for prospective accounts, present proposals and adhere to agency policies and procedures for writing a new account.
  • Maintain a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers and agency personnel to minimize potentials for error or omission claims.
  • Solicit referrals from existing agency accounts.
  • Maintain necessary licenses and continuing education required for license renewal.
  • Coordinate with CSR for service of existing accounts.
  • Meets or exceeds personal predetermined quote and sales DWP goals on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Fast-paced multiple tasking conditions, high disruption environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must have a strong desire to win, must be proactive persistent and assertive, a self-starter with the ability to influence others. Should have demonstrated effective presentation skills through both verbal and written communications.
  • Must have all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance.
  • Expected to meet the monthly new business premium goals through a variety of sources: cold calls, referrals, etc.
