Responsibilities
Meet with Portfolio Managers to discuss tax implications of the PM's strategy
Monitor and oversee the tax landscape and assist in alerting management of new tax issues and plan/strategize accordingly
Analyze current and prospective trading products to identify areas of tax risks
Assist in the review and analysis of corporate actions and SPACs as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
4-7 years of experience at a hedge fund and at a law firm
Mix of domestic and international tax experience
Tax analytical modelling experience is a plus
Strong technical proficiency with web applications
