We are currently searching for a certified Rad Tech to join our growing company at our brand new office in Greenville SC! This Rad Tech is a high-energy person who can connect with patients and deliver top level clinical care. With their extensive training and understanding of industry trends, the Rad Tech will communicate directly with patients, understand their individual needs, and take them through the imaging process along with the rest of our team at the Greenville office!

The Rad Tech (X-Ray) Technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.

Duties
  1. Operate x-ray scanners
  2. Responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations
  3. Provide patient care that is essential to the performance of a variety of procedures
  4. Take patient medical history before an exam
  5. Position patients so desired anatomy will be demonstrated
  6. Determine and set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
  7. Assume responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients
  8. Any other assigned task


Qualifications
  1. Able to operate sophisticated computer equipment
  2. Certified by the state of South Carolina to work imaging
  3. Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured
  4. Able to communicate effectively
  5. Able to perform well independently
  6. Able to follow detailed instructions


Skills Needed
  1. Highly self-motivated
  2. High School graduate or equivalent
  3. Current BLS
  4. Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved
  5. Have met requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic

Technologists (ARRT)

Lifting Requirements: Heavy lifting: up to 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, stoop and lift and walk without restrictions.
