This professional will perform entry-level accounting work involving the review of source documents used for accounting, the maintenance of ledgers, registers, or other records of initial entry, the maintenance of control accounts, and the preparation of periodic and special financial reports. Responsibilities:
Obtaining Financial Data and Information
Collecting relevant financial data from various sources.
Analyzing financial records to extract essential information.
Handling invoices, receipts, and other financial paperwork.
Ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping.
Examining financial statements and reports.
Identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Compiling financial reports, including balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
Assisting with budgeting processes.
Offering financial guidance to management, employees, and other stakeholders.
Advising on financial best practices and compliance.
Applying professional accounting principles and methods.
Ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures (including GAAP).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., FreshBooks, QuickBooks).
Advanced skills in MS Excel (including Vlookups and pivot tables).
Attention to detail and analytical abilities
