Carry out accounting and paperwork tasks related to maintenance as well as processing of the company payables.
Accounts Payable Specialist Duties and responsibilities :
Review invoices as well as check requests
Keep track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
Monitor company accounts to ensure payments to be up to date; resolve bill discrepancies; vendor document maintenance; correspond with vendors and react to inquiries.
Assist in month end closing
Monthly check runs
Work closely with shop and rental department personnel
Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
Maintaining historical records
Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports.
Continuing to improve the payment process.
Misc. requests and projects as needed from Controller
Understanding of relevant computer programs proficient in data admittance and management
1-4 years of accounts payable and general accounting exposure and experience.
Organization as well as prioritizing ability
Attention to fine detail and accuracy
Discretion; judgment; communication abilities; information and data management skills and problem-solving abilities.
