Open Door is seeking a full-time Technology & Cybersecurity Manager. The Technology & Cybersecurity Manager manages all Open Door cybersecurity initiatives, including directly overseeing the development, implementation, evaluation, and maturity of the NIST-based cybersecurity program. The Cybersecurity Manager will lead the day-to-day cybersecurity and framework compliance activities, security-focused project management, and cyber risk management functions. The Cybersecurity Manager will routinely collaborate with senior leadership, business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and vendors to meet the defined goals and objectives of the cybersecurity program. This position reports to the Director of Infrastructure Operations and will be located at our administrative office in Tarrytown, NY.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all initiatives within the cybersecurity program to identify, remediate, and mitigate risks to the Open Door technical infrastructure.

Manage cybersecurity and infrastructure-related projects such as cybersecurity tool implementation, control implementation, and key risk mitigation projects.

Provide compliance oversight, guidance, and direction necessary to maintain ongoing compliance with the NIST framework, HIPAA Security Rule, and other state, federal, and regulatory requirements.

Manage cybersecurity awareness initiatives, intranet content, newsletters, and organizational communication.

Create a system of measurable metrics and KPIs to effectively monitor the impact of the cybersecurity program through an executive dashboard.

Manage subordinate staff members in the day-to-day operations of cybersecurity projects and activities.

Develop organizational security and IT policies to ensure procedures are aligned to maintain compliance with industry and regulatory standards

Manage the operational support capabilities that ensure cybersecurity hardware, software, and features are installed, patched, and properly configured so that they may continually be effective at securing platforms

Assess threats to information systems and effectively communicate the potential impacts and vulnerabilities to business and technical stakeholders.

Coordinate and conduct internal risk and compliance assessments based on the organization's control and regulatory frameworks.

Plan automation efforts to further drive efficiency, leveraging existing and new technologies

Oversee the planning and management of cybersecurity team and committee meetings, both regular and ad hoc, including agenda development and ensuring effective facilitation and follow-up.

Support the Operations team with cybersecurity vendor management that supports the cybersecurity program and services.

Support the finance team with the vendor onboarding process and tracking of vendors that have access to HIPAA and require more oversight.

Work closely with the organization's risk and compliance teams to align policies and HIPAA guidelines for Open Door.

Manage 3rd party vendors delivering cybersecurity services to Open Door, ensuring that services are meeting expectations and providing value to Open Door

EXPERIENCE

Experience with third-party vendor management

Understanding of risk concepts, including risk identification, evaluation, mitigation, and measurement

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Hands-on knowledge of cyber security best practices and preventative measures

Strong Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems knowledge

Success as a competent troubleshooter

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and to meet appropriate deadlines

Excellent organizational skills

Foster company success through a professional demeanor, being courteous to internal customers and associates, having a positive attitude, and being a team player

Ability to multi-task is essential

Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Visio, or similar flowcharting applications

Speak to individuals or groups of people with poise, voice control and confidence

Communicate effectively and efficiently in all languages required by the job using whatever communication device or system is required

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

2+ years' experience working with Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server operating systems

2+ years experience in IT, audit, risk, cyber security, or related compliance role required

Security certifications like Security+, GSE, and CISSP are desirable

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Excellent planning of tasks, budgets, and people

ITIL Certification desired

Strong skills using Power BI or other visualization tools

NIST HIPAA experience is essential

Experience with frameworks like COBIT and ISO is desirable
