Big Data Developer- Spark with Java
Location: Irving, TX / Tampa, FL
Duration: Full time with Benefits.
10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years of experience in Java and 3+ years of experience in Spark using Java/Scala. • Should have certified in Spark from Cloudera or Databricks or Hortonworks. • Should be strong in Core Java, Collections, Oops concepts, Spark. • Good understanding on Hadoop Ecosystem and Architecture. (HDFS, Map Reduce, Pig, Oozie, Yarn). • Knowledge in Kafka, Pig, MapReduce, HBase, Sqoop, Solr is a plus • Exposure in BI Tools like Tableau, MicroStrategy etc. • Experience in Hive queries and Oracle SQL queries. • Having knowledge in Python is added advantage. • Experience in Retail Banking is a plus. • Should have strong communication skills. • Should be able to lead onsite-offshore team and coordinate with multiple teams for the requirements/deliverables.
