CAE Doss Aviation is hiring a 2nd shift full-time A&P Mechanic I for our Initial Flight Training (IFT) Program for the United States Air Force (USAF) located in Pueblo, CO. The A&P Mechanic I performs routine maintenance on Diamond DA-20 airframes and complies with all safety requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Inspect Diamond DA-20 Airframe, Engine, and Propeller systems while performing 50 hour and 100 hours inspections
Assist with Annual Inspections, perform maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various aircraft components.
Test aircraft operations to identify malfunctions.
Adjust, align and calibrate aircraft using hand tools, gauges, etc. Perform oil changes, battery service, hydraulic system service, wheel & tire tear down/build up, and other aircraft servicing tasks or duties as assigned by Maintenance Management.
Ensure compliance with FAA part 145 Repair Station and company standards.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of aircraft interiors and exteriors.
Resolve technical problems and troubleshoot unusual repairs.
Perform maintenance compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations, and US Air Force FOD and safety programs.
Operate support equipment that is used in removal and installations of aircraft components.
Use, maintain and store company-provided tools and equipment in safe and proper manner.
Other Details: Basic aircraft hand tools and personal toolbox required. Tool box must be shadowed.
Must possess a currently valid Driver's License
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on
company provided resources.
Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
Work Environment
Indoors, outdoors, off-site, and in varying weather conditions
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, Shifts vary. Occasional weekends and holidays, as required. This could shift from a Monday-Friday to a Tuesday - Saturday depending on the increased flying

Salary/Compensation:
Base salary $30.96/hr
Health & Welfare benefits at $6.00/hr
