Job Title: Manager, Quality Control (ASME Manufacturing)

Company: We are seeking a Manager, Quality Control (ASME Manufacturing) to join our Quality Assurance Team. Our offices are located in Fenton, MO. This role is integral to our commitment to delivering superior products and services to our customers.
Role Overview:
The Manager, Quality Control reports directly to the Director of Supply Management. In this role, you will analyze quality systems to ensure risk mitigation within market economical constraints. You'll interpret third-party quality assessments, supervise the QA Team, and lead the implementation of our Quality programs and systems.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Quality Control department by setting clear expectations, coaching, and developing staff.
Ensure effective Source Inspection processes to minimize cost due to fabrication errors.
Resolve Quality issues with Suppliers and monitor systematic problems.
Supervise the execution of the company's Quality Plan and ensure required certifications are renewed.
Develop new Quality requirements to meet company goals and develop customer relationships.
Engage with industry organizations to support our quality efforts and provide input into quality requirement changes.
Travel 10-15% by car or plane as needed.
Key Qualifications:
Four-year degree in engineering strongly preferred. In lieu of an engineering degree, a four-year degree in a technical field with relevant work experience may be considered.
At least 8 years of experience in quality, ASME Section I or VIII, heavy industry, manufacturing, construction, welding, non-destructive testing, or similar fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing direct reports.
Excellent time management and written and spoken communication skills.
Proficient in English with the ability to read, write, problem-solve, make quick decisions, interpret data, and analyze results.
