LHH is partnering with a client in West Lafayette, Indiana to identify a Bookkeeper for a contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will be well organized and comfortable with managing financial data and understanding of accounting principals. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable and maintain customer and vendor account statuses for reporting purposes.
Responsibilities
Prepare payment requests for vendors
Oversee all accounts payable and accounts receivable activity daily
Customer recordkeeping, managing past due accounts
Check bank statements, apply payments and invoice customers
Manage general ledger and month end close processes
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
3+ years of experience in accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks
