LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Senior Accountant for a client of ours in the Overland Park, KS area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the accounting records, performing month-end close procedures, and handling various tax payments among other accounting duties.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate accounting records
Perform month-end close procedures
Handle ongoing journal entries and transactions
Manage various tax payments and conduct analyses
Contribute to building a positive and productive accounting department culture
Collaborate effectively with direct reports, answering questions, and providing leadership support
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Heavy GL experience
Willingness to work with a team and report directly to the Controller
Strong desire for growth and advancement
