Our client is a company in the Milwaukee area looking for an Accountant. This company is looking for someone with 1+ years accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and who has positive energy! The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
Bank reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
Maintain fixed assets.
Prepare monthly journal entries.
Support grant tracking and reporting.
Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.
Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
Compile information and documentation to support audit.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
The Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or closely related field preferred.
1+ years of accounting experience.
Non-profit experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
