Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Prepare and file sales tax returns and other compliance-related documents.
Assist with the year-end audit process by providing necessary documentation and support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance financial reporting efficiency.
Stay updated on accounting regulations and ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
Handle special projects and ad hoc reporting as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred.
2+ years of experience in accounting or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in public accounting or relevant industry experience is a plus.
Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
