Job Description:

Ledgent is seeking a Fiscal Operations Specialist to assist with an audit project for our nonprofit client in Hartford. The project is expected to take 1-2 months and needs to be completed by the June 30th deadline. The hours can be part-time or full-time Monday-Friday during regular office hours with the ability to work hybrid with some days in the office and some remote. Conveniently located near the West Hartford/Hartford town line with free parking available.


Pay range is $40-55/hour depending on experience


The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong accounting/finance background


• Ability to partner with key stakeholders and leadership


• Experience auditing and updating accounting operations policy and procedure manuals


• Knowledge of accounting procedures and fiscal policies along with experience creating SOPs


• Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency


• Experience with QuickBooks a plus
