AR /AP CLERK- Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing



COMPENSATION RANGE


$28/hr - $30/hr or,


$58,240/yr - $62,400/yr


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Currently using QuickBooks will be transitioning to Microsoft Dynamics 365

Accounts Receivable:

* Audit customer invoices ensuring accurate rate and hours corresponding to supporting documentation
* Send out audited invoices to customers within three business days
* Maintain up to date contact information for customers in accounting software
* Respond to customer emails/voicemails within a 24-hour period
* Revise invoices by creating invoices when underbilled and/or credit memos when overbilled
* Post deposits in accounting software daily
* When posting deposits, follow up with customers that have overlooked invoices
* Research and resolve customer billing issues
* Maintain accounts receivable ageing under 60 days
* Place billing and collection calls

Accounts Payable:

* Open mail and scan vendor invoices to appropriate manager for approval
* Maintain accounts payable, including uploading invoices, maintaining vendor account information, collecting vendor w9's, verifying invoices for payment, coding invoices to the correct expense account, preparing check run list for approval, processing payment
* Maintain active business licenses from various cities/states and apply for new licenses
* Process approved employee expense reimbursements
* Assist in processing annual 1099 by deadline



Competencies:

* 3+ years experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable
* Ability to prioritize projects and have strong problem-solving skills
* Must demonstrate time management and organizational skills
