Ultimate Staffing is working with a Real Estate and Settlement firm in Timonium, MD who are seeking great Mortgage Title Examiners to add to their growing team.


**Job Description:**

• Conduct thorough examinations of property titles to ensure accuracy and completeness.


• Review documents such as deeds, mortgages, easements, and plats to verify legal descriptions of property.


• Identify any liens, encumbrances, or defects in title that could affect the transfer or mortgage of property.


• Research public records, court documents, and other sources to gather information pertinent to title examination.


• Interpret and analyze complex legal documents to determine the status of property titles.


• Collaborate with attorneys, lenders, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to resolve title issues.


• Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations regarding title status.


• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices related to title examination.


• Use title examination software and databases effectively to streamline the examination process.


• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.


• Communicate effectively with internal team members and external parties involved in the title examination process.

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as real estate, business, or law preferred.


• Previous experience in title examination, real estate, or related field preferred.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret legal documents.


• Excellent research and analytical skills.


• Proficiency in using computer software and databases for title examination.


• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing property titles.
