Ultimate Staffing is looking for an experienced Reliability Maintenance Engineer for a well-established global manufacturer that develops petroleum additives in the St Clair County Illinois area. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 5-10 years' work experience within Chemical/Manufacturing industrial environment, be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Accolade, and SAP, and a working knowledge of Maintenance and Reliability Best Practices.
Job Title: Reliability Maintenance Engineer
Comp: $95-115K (depending on experience)

Overview:
Lead and direct the maintenance department's mechanical maintenance and reliability initiatives. Provide technical assistance to the maintenance department and be the maintenance liaison with plant engineering and operations. Lead predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
Responsibilities:
Lead maintenance safety and environmental compliance initiatives
Provide maintenance support to plant
Lead predictive & preventative maintenance programs
Lead energy efficiency programs - steam, air, nitrogen, and training
Provide daily supervision of maintenance mechanical department
Provide plant turnaround leadership
Lead and direct specialty contractors
Liaison with engineers, operations, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects
Maintain and improve mechanical systems, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes
Direct and coordinate manufacturing, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
Inspect, maintain installations, and observe operations to ensure conformance to design, equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
Train maintenance and operations employees
Investigate and test vendors' products
Utilize technical drawings, specifications of electrical and mechanical systems and components to ensure systems conform to standards
Provide technical assistance to operations
Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred (four-year college or university)
Five to Ten years' work experience within Chemical/Manufacturing industrial environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Accolade, SAP
Good working knowledge of Maintenance and Reliability Best Practices
