Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to oversee and optimize our company's operational functions. The Vice President of Operations will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operations management, strategic planning, and leadership within the medical device and health care services industry.

Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize operational efficiency, streamline processes, and drive business growth.
  2. Operational Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to the operations function
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including R&D, sales, and marketing, to align operational strategies with overall business objectives and customer needs.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations and ISO standards, to uphold the highest standards of quality and safety.
  5. Budget Management: Develop and manage departmental budgets, closely monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or efficiency.
  6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, proactively addressing any potential issues that may impact product quality, delivery timelines, or customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in operations management within the medical device industry.
  3. Proven track record of success in driving operational excellence, implementing process improvements, and achieving measurable results.
  4. Strong understanding of supply chain management, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance principles in a regulated environment.
  5. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  6. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
  7. Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements governing medical device manufacturing and distribution.
  8. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage budgets, allocate resources, and optimize operational performance.
  9. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  10. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
