QA Incoming Inspector

Purpose

Sampling, inspecting and releasing of dry components as a day to day process. Inspecting and labeling of released finished goods. Ensuring compliance to specifications and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspection and sampling of incoming components


• Inspection and labeling of outgoing filled stock.


• Perform inspections of every component from customer approved specifications.


• Approve and Hold components in Voyant’s JDE system.


• Complete NCR disperse report and label items on hold.


• Use pallet viewer to locate components and filled stock.


• Obtain Retains when needed.


• Audit multiple pallets when needed.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Functional Responsibilities

Manager/Supervisor and/or Lead may add duties at any given time.

Educational Requirements

What are the educational requirements for this position?

High School

Work Experience

Must have minimal computer skills and at least 2 years manufacturing experience.

Technical Skills

Ability to read Tape Measure/Calipers.
