Greenwise Organic Lawn Care is seeking a part-time (20-25 hours / week) Marketing Manager to lead the creation and distribution of the company's marketing content, including:
Instagram content, 3-4x posts weekly, including both photos and reels (content capture, editing, posting)
LinkedIn thought leadership content, 1x weekly
Weekly email communication to clients via MailChimp
Weekly blog content and Google My Business posts
In this role, the Marketing Manager would both capture and create content and post that content on relevant social media platforms. Greenwise will provide direction on content and can assist in providing photos and videos and has third-party photography/videography resources to leverage as well.
This professional should be local to the Chicago market.
Responsibilities:
Create email weekly marketing content for client communication and distribute through MailChimp
Generate weekly blog content for website and post content updates to Google My Business
Create content (photography, written content) through on-site visits with crews and collaboration with sales staff (done with both iPhone and professional equipment, which will be provided)
Leverage third-party photographer/videographer for additional content
Effectively use Instagram Reels and other video tools to display Greenwise's landscaping work
Understand client interests and seasonal trends to create content that's relevant for time of year and Greenwise's client demographic
Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement and number of followers
Monitor and report on performance metrics, analytics and campaign effectiveness
Experience:
Proven work experience as a Marketing and/or Social Media Manager or similar role
Knowledge of content creation, proofreading, and video editing
Strong understanding and experience with social media marketing tools, including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
Basic photography skills for capturing visual content (videos and photos)
Proficient in graphic design software for creating visually appealing content (Adobe Premiere, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
Familiarity with lawn care or related service industries is a plus, but not required
Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred, but not required
