Job Description:

The Project Executive is responsible for overseeing multiple Design-Build projects while directly managing the Project Mangers for each project. This includes strategic planning, procurement, scheduling, progress reporting, change management, and overall responsibility for the profit and loss of the project. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Owner, design team, construction team, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of the scope of work, cost efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage industrial construction projects from concept development through design, construction, and project closeout, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets that align with project goals and client expectations.
  • Establish a Project Procurement Plan for timely and cost-efficient buy-out while reviewing and approving the requests for contracts submitted by the project team.
  • Oversee the development of the projects' baseline schedules and ensure that they are being routinely updated and reporting accurate information.
  • Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and progress meetings to monitor project performance, address issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.
  • Manage project staffing requirements to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service, communication, and project updates to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
  • Implement risk management strategies, identify potential project risks, and develop mitigation plans to minimize project disruptions and financial impacts.
  • Monitor project financials, track project costs, budgets, and expenditures, and provide accurate and timely project reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence within the project team, promoting best practices, compliance with industry standards, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead project meetings, presentations, and negotiations with clients to address project requirements, changes, and challenges.
  • Coach and counsel the project team members to assist with their professional development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in industrial design and construction to drive innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence in project delivery.

Work Experience Requirements:
  • Proven experience of at least 15 years as a Project Manager, Construction Manager, or a similar role in the construction industry, preferably in the industrial sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of Construction Management principles such as scheduling, costing, and change management within the construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation and management skills to establish and maintain productive relationships with the clients, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Proficient in using Project Management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other relevant tools such as Procore and MS Project.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control standards, and environmental sustainability practices relevant to the construction industry.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
